What each one is like

This site

You upload one photo of one adult. We remade the routine once with Seedance 2.0 and AI-made performers in a bright white kitchen, and each order is a Kling 4.0 edit that puts you in the performer’s place in every shot. Your face, hair and outfit colors come from the photo; the kitchen, moves, camera and timing never change, and no frame of any original clip is used. The wait is usually about 5 minutes, and you need a free account (Google, or email and password). Packs are one-time, credits never expire, and if a video fails or times out the credits come back automatically; a finished video that fails the safety check keeps them. The limits: one adult per video, no pets yet, 720p, and one routine.

CapCut one-photo templates

From October 2026, free one-photo AI templates in CapCut were promoted on TikTok as the “angry dance filter”. Template creators make them inside the app, so results differ from one template to the next, and availability varies by app version and region. You work in the CapCut app, and CapCut’s terms apply to your photo. Our page on the free options explains how to find one.

All-purpose AI video sites

VisualGPT and MakeViral are general AI video sites with a page for this trend. VisualGPT’s page describes “one front-on photo” turned into “a vertical dance clip with the furious face held and the beat already in it”, with 480P, 720P or 1080P quality. It doesn’t mention the kitchen routine or name a song. MakeViral’s “Bad Times AI Trend” page describes four versions from one or two photos, including a 15-second Angry Dance version in 720p made with Seedance 2.5, a Pet version and a Couple version. It says the clip comes with the song and that you can turn the song off. Both run in the browser and sell credits.

Filming it yourself

This is how the trend started, and it is free. You need someone to film, a bright room and some rehearsal. In TikTok, tap “Use this sound” on the “Bad Times” sound and record, so the song plays while you lip-sync. The routine, beat by beat lists the moves in order.

Which one to pick

• The kitchen routine with your face, nothing to film: a one-photo site. Ours is built for exactly this routine.
• Free: a CapCut template, or film it yourself.
• Your pet, or two people in one video: MakeViral describes Pet and Couple versions. This site makes one adult per video and doesn’t support pets yet.
• 1080p: VisualGPT lists a 1080P option. This site makes 720p.
• The song in the file: MakeViral says its clip comes with it. Ours is silent so you add the platform’s sound, which avoids copyright mutes and puts your post on the song’s page.
• Your real performance: film it yourself.
